Population gets consumer goods of AZN 1.8 bln in Azerbaijan in January-February

"In January-February of this year the population of Azerbaijan got consumer goods of wide assortment in the amount of AZN 1.8 bln and payable services in the amount of AZN 562.9 mln", says the statement.

As compared to the due period of the last year the commodity turnover rose 9.9% and payable service 20.2%. 15.3% of retail trade turnover on the country was formed at the expense of legal entities, 43.9% individuals, taking part in the organized fairs and markets and 40.8% individual entrepreneurs engaged in trade without creation of a legal entity.
 
Of the overall volume of consumer goods foodstuffs make AZN 1.2 bln and nonfoods AZN 603.3 mln. Their sale has risen 9.8% and 10.6% respectively.
