Laboratory on analysis of genomodified foodstuffs suggested in Azerbaijan

"I appealed to different ministries for them to assist me in the opening of labs on the analysis of the genomodified products", said Eyub Huseynov Thursday, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

"This is not too expensive, We estimate this project at not more than $60,000. Currently we are engaged in the search of financial means for its implementation", noted Huseynov.

He said Azerbaijan has genomodified water melons, potato, tomatoes and corn.
