Water to be fully cut to Baku and Sumgayit

Notably, it is connected with a large debt to Sumgayitelektriksebeke.

Thus, in period from October 1 of 2002 and until January 31 of 2009 the water economy objects of Azersu gathered a debt for use of electricity in the amount of AZN 47,101,064 of which 12,376,002 fall on 2007, 8,646,065 for 2008 and 510,016 on January of this year.

Azersu representatives have repeatedly been informed about debts but they did not take any steps to correct the established situation and in this connection Sumgayitelektrikshebeke had problems in their activity.

As is reported if the debt is not repaid, Azersu will be responsible for all problems in fresh and technical water supply to Baku and Sumgayit and other regions of Azerbaijan.
