A resort complex with zero energy consumption and carbon emission will be built at former
Nargin island. According to dezeen.com website, Dutch Bjarke Ingels Group is developing the design of the ecoresort.
The resort will consist of the complexes in a form of seven mountain peaks of Azerbaijan to combine with the national relief of the island. The architecture will reflect national traditions. The island will have 300 villas, a golf club, a beach complex and so on. The energy for heating and cooling the ecoresort will be generated or sun rays, wind and water.
This place will be ideal for those who value ecotourism. The general plan of the ecoresort will be demonstrated at an exhibition at the Danish architectural center on February 21 of this year.
