ADSL tariffs for providers reduced 50% in Azerbaijan

Aztelekom and Baku telephone communication under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan have reduced prices on connection of internet providers to ADSL line from AZN 10 to 5, said sources in the Ministry, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

The monthly fee has been reduced from AZN 4 to 2.

"The reduction is aimed at accelerating rates of introduction of information technologies in the country, development and wide spread of internet services and creating conditions of free competition on the market of internet services of the country", said the ministry.
