Regardless of existence or absence of problems between Russia and Ukraine in the gas issue, Azerbaijan conducts a correct and serious policy in energy sphere, said ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ukraine in Azerbaijan Boris Klimchuk speaking about the role of Azerbaijan in eliminating problems of ensuring Europe with gas after the next Russian-Ukrainian gas conflict.

According to him, it is obvious that Europe will intensify lobbying the implementation of the Nabucco project, especially because Russian Foreign Minister Vladimir Putin had recently said that Russia has no plans to prevent implementation of this project.

"In other words: more gas and diverse gas pipelines are needed!", concluded the Ukrainian ambassador.
