Azerbaijani vessel again studying shelf near Turkmenistan's shore

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service of the State Oil Company that this is already the third visit of the vessel to Turkmenistan.

There are specialists on board who will study the shelf in the Banka Livanova field.

The vessel is notably equipped with a drilling facility, allowing to work at a depth of 150 meters. The vessel is capable of working in the open sea up to 32 days. In July and September of 2008 the Zohrab Veliyev vessel held the engineering and geological survey near Turkmenistan's shore.

It should be reminded that the Banka Livanova field was discovered by Azerbaijani geologists in 1972.
