Azerbaijan ranking 9th among post-Soviet countries for devaluation of national currently against US dollar

Belarus is leading among the former USSR states for devaluation of national currency against US dollar.
This is a result of the analysis of official exchange rates held by BelaPAN as of January 5 of 2009 notwithstanding monetary reforms. The official US dollar rate notwithstanding denominations of 1994 and 2000 reached 26,500,000 Belarus rubles, according to Rokf.Ru.

Belarus is followed by Turkmenistan - 7,125,000, Georgia - 1,668,000, Uzbekistan 1,393,000 and Ukraine 770,000. They are further followed by Tajikistan 345,890, Armenia 61,346, Kazakhstan 60,395.

Azerbaijan is ranking 9th with 40,008, followed by Russia with 29,392, Moldova 10,400, Kyrgyzstan 7,884. The list is concluded by Baltic states: Lithuania, 244.9, Estpnia 114.4 and Latvia 100.
