Inflation rate makes 21.4% by late November

Inflation rate in Azerbaijan made 21.4% as of late November, says a statement of the National Bank of the country about main macroeconomic indicators of Azerbaijani economy through 11 months of this year, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

The document states that the GDP growth made 11.5% in Azerbaijan in January-November as compared to the due period of 2007, while the volume of gross production through 11 months made about AZN 34.661 bln (about $43.28 bln by the current rate).

The gross production in the nonoil sector of the country's economy grew 16.3% through the reported period topping AZN 12.206 bln (over $15.3 bln).

As is reported, investments to the main capital topped AZN 7.958 bln in January-November (over $9.93 bln)- 38.8% higher as compared to the same period of 2007, nominal profits of the population rose by 35.8% as compared to January-November of 2007 up to about AZN 18.177 (about $22.7 bln). The nominal average wage has grown 24.3% up to AZN 265.1 (about $331).
