Kazakh ambassador to Azerbaijan: "The Baku-Supsa pipeline is profitable for Kazakhstan"

"The Baku-Supsa pipeline is profitable for Kazakhstan. We are ready to transport oil to the Black Sea coast by the said pipeline. Everything depends on tariffs on transportation", he told reporters Tuesday.

Primbetov noted that talks on the said issue are currently being held.

The ambassador also touched upon the oil transportation by the BTC pipeline. He said the Tengiz oil is transported by the BTC pipeline in small volumes. The biggest volume of oil will be transported after 2012, when Kashagan field starts operating.

The diplomat noted that working variants on preparation of infrastructure on both sides of the Caspian Sea are being developed now.
