French people consume Azerbaijani snails

According to Novosti-Azerbaijan, the due statement was made by Imran Abdullayev, chief of good department of the Baku center of hygiene and epidemiology.

He said the shipments of snails, common for Azerbaijan and found in Absheron are prepared by this company, whose workers gather snails in the field.

Company owner has brought a complex technology of storing these animals, corresponding to European standards, from France. Baku center of hygiene and epidemiology will issue a quality certificate, accepted by the customs and quarantine service of France to the Azerbaijani product.

The company, exporting snails to France, locates at the Shamakhy highway, not far from Baku.
