Gudrat Hasanquliyev: "The global economic crisis already has a negative influence on Azerbaijan"

He said this is because the banks stopped issuing mortgage loans, definite difficulties appear while taking credits for housing technique and other consumer prices.

"This proves that the financial crisis influences the economy of our country. At the same time, the factor of the significant drop in oil prices, which resulted in colossal losses for us, should also be taken into account.

As compared to other countries, world financial crisis is insignificantly observed in Azerbaijan, but we must not content ourselves with it, as the possible implications of the crisis is unclear.

In this connection it is necessary to hold an economic policy of rational use of country's monetary reserves. It is a great regret that while discussing the state budget of the country for 2009 45% of the budget will again be used for the restoration of the country", said Hasanquliyev.
