15th session of Coordination bureau of CIS tax services held in Baku

According to Day.Az, speaking during the event, deputy Tax Minister Natiq Gasimov of Azerbaijan voiced interest in cooperation of the Taxes ministry with the related structures of the CIS.

The session participants discussed monitoring of amendments to the tax legislation in the CIS states, exchanged experience in the sphere of the system of taxpayers registration, as well as joint actions on signing and execution of agreements on double tax evasion.

It was noted at the presentation on the tax system of Azerbaijan, held at the session that through 9 months of 2008 the number of registered taxpayers reached 283,000. At the same time 98% of VAT payers present tax declarations in the e-format.

It should be noted that after the session representatives of the CIS tax services familiarized with the system of registration of entrepreneurs by the "single window" principle.
