Head of the Azerbaijani state committee for securities dismissed

Gunduz Mamedov has been dismissed from the position of the state committee for securities of Azerbaijan.
Day.Az reports with reference to sources in the government, this position is now occupied by Rufat Aslanly, who was the deputy chairman of the board of the National Bank of Azerbaijan.

Aslanly was born on November 15 of 1970 in Baku. In 1988-1993 he studied at the faculty of "Economy and regulation of production" of the Azerbaijan State economic institute. Within the next year, Aslanly worked as a leading economist in the accounting department of the agrarian-industrial commercial stock bank, from December of 1994 the leading economist in the main department of the monetary policy and the monetary regulation of the National Bank, from March of 1995 within 3 years - leading economist in the department of monetary regulation and control of the National Bank of Azerbaijan, in the next 2 years - chief of department of monetary control of the same department. Since July of 2000 Aslanly has been the chief of department of control over the activity of credit organizations of the National Bank of Azerbaijan, since December of 2001 he has been the member of the board of directors of the National Bank of Azerbaijan.

Aslanly is married and has a child.
