Georgian Prime Minister highly appreciates decision to preserve tariffs on Azerbaijani gas

Georgian Prime minister Grigol Mgaloblishvili is high appreciating the decision not to change gas tariffs within five years adopted at the energy forum in Baku.
According to the Premier, it is the first time that Georgia concluded a long-term contract, which will be a guarantor of country's energy security and stability.

"This is the first time that Georgia managed to reach signing a five year contract with Azerbaijan.

This is important in the sense of energy security, the supply of natural gas within the five years, second it is more important that the natural gas for our population will not be raised. This proves that business environment will be more stable and more people will be placed in jobs", said Grigol Mgalovlishvili.

It should be reminded that the governments of Georgia and Azerbaijan reached an agreement according to which Georgia will get gas under the same tariffs within five years at the energy summit, held in Baku.
