Abdullah Gul: "The energy summit in Baku is the next opportunity to present Turkey's position to the regional countries"

"The energy summit in Baku is the next chance to present Turkey's position in the energy policy and development of cooperation in the said sphere", said Turkish President Abdullah Gul, before arriving to Baku for participation in the energy summit, reports Day.Az with reference to Turkish ANKA news agency.

He said Turkey has an important role as a transit country in the East-West energy corridor.

It should be noted that today President of Turkey Abdullah Gul will arrive in Azerbaijan for participation in the energy summit on November 13-14. This visit is held by invitation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Gul is accompanied by Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Hilmi Guler.
