Ganja car plant plans to open representative office in Turkey

The Ganja car plant is planning to open its own representative office in Turkey soon, said director of the enterprise Khanlar Fatiyev.
According to him, the marketing assessments prove that the market of Turkey sells about 36,000 tractors each year of which about 8-9 thousand are produced inside the country and the rest are supplied from abroad.

"We are planning to arrange the sale of 300-500 tractors within the first year in Turkey and then expand sale. Yet, under the legislation, in order to conduct sales in Turkey it is necessary to provide for the complete after-sale maintenance of the technique and create capacities of its repair on the whole territory of the country.

To settle this issue the Ganja plant intends to establish partner relations with one of the Turkish companies. Talks on this issue currently continue", added Fatiyev.

The issue of creating joint Azerbaijani-Belarus tractor assembly enterprise on the basis of the Ganja car plant is currently being settled.

"The tractors, produced at a joint enterprise, will be supplied to Iran, Turkey, Georgia and, probably, to Russia's south. Necessary preliminary works are being completed for implementation of this project", said Khanlar Fatiyev, head of the Ganja car plant.
