US senator visits Azerbaijan

U.S. Senator Bob Corker is visiting Azerbaijan November 11-12 to explore the broad range of bilateral issues, according to sources from the US embassy to Azerbaijan.
The first-term Republican Senator from the state of Tennessee will be meeting with senior government officials, including a group of Azerbaijani Parliamentarians.  He will also be exchanging views regarding energy issues in meetings with government and private sector representatives.

Senator Corker serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, as well as the Senator Committee on Energy and Natural Resources.  From Baku, he will travel to Kazakhstan November 12.
