Azerenerji vice president: "Construction of Azerbaijani Hydroelectric power station not planned to continue"

The continuation of the construction of Azerbaijani hydroelectric power station is not planned, said vice president of Azerenerji Marlen Askerov, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.
He said the reconstruction of energy units on the level of world standards will be held instead.

"The capacity of each power unit will be raised from 300 to 330 MW. Reconstruction is completed at the fifth unit. Chinese specialists are working at another unit. Thus, the overall capacity of the station will rise by 240 MW", noted Askerov.
