HP director general in Russia: "Azerbaijan is among CIS leaders in the sphere of information technologies"

He said the careful analysis of the ICT sector of Azerbaijan may immediately define two main development sector - "technologies to ensure effectiveness of different spheres" and "new economy". R.Kozak considers that the country is implementing large IT-projects. Moreover, a number of not only national but also regional projects are planned.

Azerbaijan is conducting a system application of information technologies in the state sector, education, different business segments. Notably, HP company is one of the active partners of Azerbaijan in the implementation of these multi-level projects. Moreover, HP technologies are actively introduced in the financial sector and a number of leading banks of the country have built information systems by means of HP technological solutions.

Kozak called the system application of information technologies in the sphere of education to be positive. HP is among the active participants of information of secondary education of Azerbaijan. This process continues on a new level and it is possible to welcome the state attention to education, for which several tens of millions in national currency have been allocated.

"Creation of a new educational platform on the basis of information technologies will help raise the staff potential of the country in the sphere of hi-tech", concluded HP director general in Russia and CIS states Rudi Kozak.
