AZPROMO and British Business Association for Middle East sign protocol of cooperation

The protocol on cooperation between the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Encouragement Foundation (AZPROMO) and British Business Association on Middle East signed a protocol of cooperation in Baku today.
According to Day.Az, the document was signed by Azerbaijan's Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev and general director of the association Michael Tomas.

During the signing ceremony Babayev informed about the reforms, held in Azerbaijan through the past years for the development of private sector, noting that owing to them the share of this sector in GDP reaches 84% today.

The Minister said that the Azerbaijani government highly evaluates the trade and economic relations with Great Britain. "Today our efforts are aimed to attracting more British investments into the country's non-oil economic sector, though we are more interested in the experience of doing business, which is behind these investments, rather than in the sums", said the Minister.

Notably, the document was signed in the framework of the conference, organized by the British Business-Association on Middle East, Ministry of Economic Development, International Bank of Azerbaijan, AZPROMO. The business forum is held for integration of Azerbaijani producers, as well as companies, engaged in the sector of services in the sphere of education, construction and consulting, into the European markets.

Round tables are organized in the framework of the conference.
