BTC pipeline operation suspended again

BP Plc stopped oil pumping by BTC pipeline after a leakage was revealed in Turkey's territory, reports Bloomberg agency.
Production in Azerbaijan and tankers shipment in Turkish port of Ceyhan were not affected by the pipeline repair.

BP representative assured that BTC operation will be resumed Friday.

It should be reminded that earlier BP suspended oil pumping by Baku-Supsa pipeline as a precaution due to the armed conflict in Georgia. The pipeline reopened on August 25.

The terms of the oil pumping by the Baku-Supsa pipeline were not specified yet.
