The average volume of oil supplies from Azerbaijan will hit 1,020,000 barrels per day in 2008, which is 155,000 barrels per day higher as compared to 2007, says the OPEC August report on the oil market, posted on the official website of the cartel.
The said indicator is 25,000 barrels lower than the volume, OPEC predicted last month.
The report says that the blast on the BTC pipeline will have a negative impact on the country's oil production.
Thus, oil production in the country will make 1,000,000 barrels daily in the third quarter of 2008 and 1,090,000 barrels daily in the fourth quarter of the year.
