65 people have become today the passengers of the first airflight by Baku-Kars route of Turan air company, said the press service for the company, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.
The opening ceremony was held at 9:30 at Heydar Aliyev's International airport.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the presidential administration, diplomatic corpses, accredited in Azerbaijan, air companies of Azerbaijan, business circles and mass medias.
Speaking at the event, Turan air director Khanlar Kerimov wished safe journey to the passengers,
Baku-Kars-Baku flights will be operated twice a week -on Mondays and Fridays-by TU-154 aircrafts of the company.
The one way ticket will cost EUR 80 and more, depending on the class and a seat in the aircraft salon.
