The second session of the intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia will be held in Riga on July 15, reported the press service for the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry.
As is reported, a delegation from Azerbaijan led by Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev will leave for Riga. The session participants will discuss economic relations between Azerbaijan and Latvia, prospects of their development. By results of the session the sides are expected to sign a protocol. H.Babayev's meeting with leaders of a number of state institutions of Latvia are expected in the framework of the visit.
It should be noted that the first session of the intergovernmental commission on economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia was held in Baku in March of 2007.
