07 July 2008 [11:57] - TODAY.AZ
Korean railway delegation composed of 10 people will visit Azerbaijan on July 30-31 of this year, said spokesman for Azerbaijani State Railroad Nadir Azamamedov.
He noted that Korean experts will present the third project on further launching of express carriages in our country to the Azerbaijani side.

"Korean experts have presented us two projects and they were not accepted due to their expensiveness. Koreans proposed us to improve the Ganja-Beyuk-Kesik, Baku-Hajiqabul and Hajiqabul-Ganja railway sections and the projects have been returned for finalization", said Azmamedov.

He noted that Koreans propose modernization of the Baku-Beyuk-Kesik railroad for launching express carriages.

"Korean experts say the project of launching express carriages will finish within 2-3 years and their speed will make 120-150 kmh", resumed Azmamedov.
