Bill Schreider: "Total amount of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli production may equal 9 bln oil barrels"

"The period of stable production at Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field on the level of 1,000,000 oil barrel per day, may be prolonged from 2013 to 2019", said Bill Schreider, president of BP-Azerbaijan, at an international conference "Caspian Oil and Gas".

Thus, he said the total production from ACG may make up 9 bln oil barrels.

Speaking of methods of prolongation of stable production period, Schreider noted that the construction of the Chirag platform for oil production from Balakhany suite in 2013 will ensure production of 100,000 barrels daily and Azeri platform will ensure additional 100,000 barrels.
