Azerbaijan settles issues of gas transit within Phase-2 of Shah Deniz project with Turkey

Azerbaijan has settled issues of gas transit with Turkey in the framework of Phase-2 of the implementation of the project of Shah Deniz gas condensate field development, said Azerbaijan Minister of Industry and Energy Natik Aliyev.

He said Azerbaijan does not demand anything new or any preferences for itself. We want to have a right of access to the European pipeline system on the basis of energy charter and business agreement on transit.

"Now the transit issues between Azerbaijan and Turkey have been removed", said Aliyev.
