The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan has received an unsecured credit in the amount of $500,000,000 for the term of 3 years.

Day.Az reports with reference to the Finmarket news agency that Citi and ABN AMRO, authorized bookrunners of the deal, have successfully implemented the initial stage of the credit syndication.
In the result, SOCAR received an unsecured credit for a term of 3 years with annual LIBOR+1.75%. The final syndication of the credit will end soon.
The deal was re-signed at the initial stage of syndication with raising the volume of credit from $300,000,000 up to $500,000,000. The following banks took part in the stage of initial syndication of a deal as leading organizers: BNP Paribas (Suisse) SA, Calyon, Cooperative Centrale Raiffeisen-Borenleenbank B.A., JP Morgan Chase Bank N.A., Societe Generale, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, LTD, as well as Maltese subsidiary of Akbank T.A.S. as an organized.
