EBRD: "Azerbaijan's 2008 inflation rate to make up 16%"

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development forecasts inflation rate to make up 16% in 2008.

The due announcement was made by a source from the bank, Day.Az reports.

"Despite expected fall of inflation rate in 2008, it is predicted to be 8.3% thus bringing the indicator to 16%", the announcement says. The Bank considers the inflation problem to be most important in 2008.

The EBRD also predicts the economic growth to be 25% in Azerbaijan.
