"If we want to reduce corruption to minimum, we should undertake due steps".
The due announcement was made by Eyub Guseynov, chairman of the Union of Consumers of Azerbaijan.
He said in order to root out corruption, it is necessary to form a consumer policy in Azerbaijan.
"Absence of consumer policy leads to violation of consumers' rights. Our structure receives numerous complaints, regarding water, gas, electricity. We neutralize debts of several consumers in the amount of AZN 500-600 per day on average", Guseynov said.
He noted that they have received numerous complaints, which state that consumers are being robbed.
