Seminar on business opportunities in Azerbaijan held in Canada

Azerbaijan's temporary plenipotentiary made the main presentation at the meeting.

He spoke of the macroeconomic situation in Azerbaijan, informed about transregional energy and transport problems, implemented with Azerbaijan's participation, country's business-climate, main regulations of domestic legislation in the sphere of entrepreneurship and measures undertaken by the government for encouragement of trade and investments.

Andre Juno, EBRD representative, informed about the Bank's financing of various projects in Azerbaijan and neighbor countries including Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan and possible raising of credits for operation in the aforementioned countries.
