Azerbaijani businessmen interested in investments to production and import of Georgian apples

According to Georgia's Ministry of Agriculture, they were accompanied by Minister Petr Tsiskarishvili.

Azerbaijani investors intend to invest into production and export of Gergian varieties of apples including Sinap and Kekhur. These vary sorts are imported to Azerbaijan from Gerogia.

The Minister noted that an enterprise on apples processing to be financed by Azerbaijani investors will be built in Ude village. "We are now preparing apples for export to Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Kazakhstan", Tsiskarishvili announced.

According to Azerbaijani investors, they purchase apples, peaches and other seasonal fruits from Samtskhe-Javakheti.
