Cost of cell phone calls likely to go down in Azerbaijan next year

"I think cost of calls over cell phones will decline in 2008", Minister of Communication and Informational Technologies of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov told reporters.

He considers that the decline is caused by active operation of the third mobile operator which will lead to strengthening of competition next year.

He noted that mobile operators are gradually reducing costs of telephone calls by means of various campaigns.
