Baku Metro likely to raise fare in 2009

"We do not intend to appeal to the Tariff Council for raising underground fare in 2008", chief of the Baku Metro Tagi Akhmedov told reporters.

He said the underground fare will remain 5 qepiks next year.

The underground fare is expected to rise in 2009.

"So, be ready for the rise", T.Akhmedov said.
