Azerbaijan's industrial production reaches 17.4 billion AZN in 2007

Azerbaijan's industrial production and services made up 17.4 billion AZN in January-November of 2007, which is a 24.7% rise as compared to the same period of 2006, according to the State Statistical Committee.
71.2% of industrial production falls on extraction industries, including 38.1 million tons of oil (32.6% rise as compared to the same period of 2006) and 9.8 billion cubic meters of gas produced through 11 months of this year.

Thus, the producing capacities of oil and gas producing and processing enterprises has exceeded the last-year indicators by 29.8% (30.3% in oil production, 5.8% in oil refining, 60.8% in gas extraction).

Processing industry accounted for 22.7% of production.

At the same time, the rise has been observed in production of rubber and plastic mass (47.1%), production of cars and equipment (69.8%), production of transport means and facilities (21.1%), timber processing  and production (11.4%), production of foodstuffs (10%), production of building materials (27.7%) and others,

Moreover, 6,1% industrial production falls on the  production ans distribution of electricity, gas and waterю

Goods make up 93.9%, services 6.1%. State enterprises accounted for 23% and private sector for 77% of industrial production.
