1600 facts of illegal registration of lands recorded in Azerbaijan in 2007

The number of facts, connected with illegal registration of lands, reached 1600 in 2007, according to the chairman of the State Committee for Land and Cartography of Azerbaijan Gariv Mamedov.
He said 1300 cases are connected with illegal registration by municipalities and 450-500 by the population.

He also announced that cases on 111 facts of illegal registration of lands had been submitted to the law-enforcement bodies.
