19 December 2007 [12:29] - TODAY.AZ
"I agree with the report of the World Bank, according to which prices in Azerbaijan were lower than in Armenia and Georgia, in 2005.

Moreover, even after the despondent decision of the Tariff Council of January 8, 2007 and despite galloping inflation, prices in Azerbaijan are still lower than in neighbor Georgia and Armenia at least by 15%", Eyub Guseynov, chairman of the Association of Free Consumers of Azerbaijan said, commenting on the report of the World Bank, which compared the level of consumer prices in 146 countries of the world.

He said, in particular, that agricultural products in our country are cheaper than in Armenia and Georgia due to more favorable natural conditions, especially, fruitful soils in Azerbaijan.
