Shadow economy making up 15-16% in Azerbaijan

The shadow economy nears 15-16% in Azerbaijan, as reported by the chairman of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan Arif Veliyev.
According to him, the shadow economy previously stood at 18-20% but has lately fallen down to 15%.

A.Veliyev said the share of shadow economy experiences decline with the rise in oil production.
