Investments into Azerbaijan's construction sector reach 5,7 billion AZN in 2007

Investments into the construction sector of Azerbaijan have made up 5,700,000,000 AZN through 11 months of 2007, which is a 17% rise as compared to 2006.
The statement was made by the chairman of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan Arif Veliyev.

He said the housing area commissioned through 11 months makes up 1,106,000 cubic meters.

"A hostital, housing 276 beds. and a surgery policlinics to receive 148 a day have been opened this year. Moreover, the commissioned institutions included school buildings for 80,000 pupils and kindergartens for 470 children", A.Veliyev added.
