1692 foreign citizens engaged in Azerbaijan's economic sector

According to the information, 45% foreign citizens are engaged in oil sector in 2007, as compared to 76% of the last year and the rest in the non-oil sector.

"The number of foreign citizens, officially registered in our country, made up 1315 people in 2006. 839 foreign citizens have been permitted to work this year as compared to 251 foreign citizens in 2006", the press service announced.

Country's economic sector mainly includes the citizens of Turkey, Great Britain, Russia, Georgia, India, Iran, China and others.
