Licenses to be issued to 170 hotels by end of year

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan is planning to issue nearly 170 licenses to hotels by the end of the year, Minister Abulfas Garayev told reporters on Monday.
According to the Minister, some hotels linger the licensing  process on purpose by protracting the submission of documents. Yet the decision of the Ministry about the suspension of the activity of hotels which had not received licenses since January 1 encouraged a triple rise in the number of appeals.

Over 100 licenses have  already been prepared and about 40 documents accepted.
