Azerbaijani government declares days-off for 2008

By a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic, March 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 (Novruz bayramy), September 30 and October 1 (Ramadan, as well as December 8 and 9 (Gurban bayramy), have been declared the days-off for 2008.

Sources from the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told Day.Az. that the said resolution is based on Article 105 of the Labor Code and information from the Caucasus Moslems Department.

March 10, 25, 26 and June 16 of 2008 have also been declared public holidays.
