Aliyev briefed the participants about achievements and activities, saying there are more than 2,300 customs officers working for the committee.
He said that an on-line system has been installed in the customs departments which further improved efficiency of activities.
Aydin Aliyev noted the State Customs Committee is cooperating with a number of international institutions and is a member of the World Customs Organization.
"The draft customs code has been framed within the scope of cooperation with the UN Development Program and due to be submitted to the president for approval," he concluded.
The Caspian Integration Business Club president Telman Aliyev said that a council will be established with involvement of the CIBC members and customs officers. APA-Economics
