Azerbaijan prepares national product standards

State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patents is working on standards for national products.

Agency deputy director Galib Aghayev told APA-Economics that the national-branded products include dovgha, pakhlava, shakarbura and others.

"Preparing standards requires a year. We plan to adopt about 40 national standards this year," he said.

The agency developed 260 national standards within one and a half year, of which 60% pertains to foodstuffs.
