Gaz de France intends to sell Azeri gas in Italy and Romania

As APA reports, Gaz de France intends to implement three types of projects in Azerbaijan, exploration of gas fields, extraction of 500 billion cubic meters of gas in deepwater Azeri-Guneshli-Chirag and reconstruction of the underground gasholders and control of gas distribution system.

Alain said Gaz de France has potential infrastructure to sell Azerbaijan's gas coming from Shah Deniz Field in Italy and Romania, adding that the company sells 7 to 8 billion cubic meters of gas in these countries a year.

Gaz de France is a major player on Europe energy market.
