Azerbaijan frames bill on Investment Funds

Azerbaijan's State Committee for Securities has completed development of a bill on Investment Funds and submitted to a panel of international experts for review.

Gunduz Mammadov, chair of the Committee, said a British expert Salley Bankston have reviewed the bill and made some remarks.

"We have had discussion on the comments and notes he made. We okayed some. We will send the bill to the government for approval," he noted.

The bill on Investment Funds paves the way for operation of investment funds in the form of Joint Stock Company and other legal entity. APA-Economics
