Finance Minister attends World Economic Forum

Azerbaijan's Finance Minister Samir Sahrifov left for Jordan on May 18 to attend the World Economic Forum in Amman.

Representatives from different countries as well as King Abdullah II will attend the forum.

Acceleration of regional development and economic diversification, preserving peace in the regions with religious and ethnic diversity will be debated in the three-day forum on the theme "Application of diversity."

Leading political figures are expected to debate on the future's economy, expansion of new industry having the role in the renovation of regional economy, as well as analyzing new ways of ensuring peace, security and stability in the Middle East in the framework of the forum.

World Economic Forum is an independent international organization participating in the development of global and regional cooperation on economic spheres thourgh leaders of the world countries and was founded as a fund in Geneva, Switzerland in 1971. APA
