Private sector takes 74.1% of communications income

"The privately-owned telecoms units took 74.1% of earnings. Average annual growth in ICT sector reached 35%-40% during the past three years. The Financial Services Development Project, between the World Bank and the Government, aimed at improving payment systems for the utility bills collection, and access to financial services and basic business infrastructure in smaller urban and rural areas through the postal system, will be completed this year.
