Finance Ministry reports on social financing

The minimum salary was increased to AZN 50 by a presidential decree aimed at improving living standards and social protection of vulnerable groups, the report reads.

The monthly salary of citizens employed in education, health, culture, sport and scientific research sectors (except for Azerbaijan National Academy of Science) rose 25% and the average monthly salary of those employed by scientific research institutions under auspices of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Science went up 50%.

The salary increase in social security organizations was 25% and scholarship of students went up. The time of issuing monthly salary to internally displaced people who lost their jobs as a result of Armenian aggression has been prolonged to June 30. APA-Economics
